Hey guys ever since I joined the military I slowed down on my PC enthusiast side(here too) and kinda lost track of the market.

My current pc plays everything well but I have the itch to upgrade as I haven't done so in a long time....you guys got any ideas?

    My current specs:
    Case: full tower NZXT
    CPU: Intel i7 3930k @ 4.2
    Ram: 32gb (corsair vengeance)
    Mb: msi big bang ii
    Hdd: 128gb Samsung 840 ssd + 2tb We black
    GFX: nvidia 780gtx
    Psu: 1200watt corsair
Cooling: bunch of fans for case and corsair self enclosed liquid cooler.

Was thinking of a secondary card but this does very well by itself.

I see no reason to upgrade anything except for shits'n'gigs
Your PSU can run multi GPU, so go for it, get another GPU. Maybe even think about watercooling. Proper watercooling that is.

That's what I'm didnt really heh. I've never dealt with a full watercooling set up, so ill start looking around for one. Should be a fun little project. Instead of just another card.

Not even 14 months of not upgrading is a long time to you? :p

But yah WC and overclock is pretty much what you can do, depending on the monitor. Go 1440/1600p maybe?

Yeah, um I see no reason to upgrade at all. In fact, everything you have would likely be an upgrade for MY build. does it do everything you want it to?

It feels longer than that to tell you the truth heh, so far im leaning towards WC as for monitor a 4k still sorta pricey for my liking.

Heheh, I did go a bit crazy with this one but it does absolutely everything I need it to do. Although now I want it to push it to its limits to see how fast it can get.

The only thing that stands out is the smallish ssd. Upgrading that to a larger one would allow you to install all the games on it you want rather than having to transfer them back and forth between the 2TB drive or simply uninstalling them all the time when you want to play something else.

I also don't see a monitor listed. If it's 1080P and you've got the cash you could move to a 2560x1600 screen or a 4k screen.

You are right about the sad as games do become a bit of a hassle at times. I forgot to mention be I do have a 24 inch screen which might be it's time to get replaced.

I agree with @yogurt_21 , larger SSD and higher resolution monitor, either 4k, 2560*1440, or 2560*1600. Everything else is golden.

Your PC looks fine. I am still on a 2600K and I do not see me upgrading anytime soon.
