Rrelatively inexpensive external hard drive enclosure?

I've been exploring a external enclosure, as a replacement in my current enclosure, but all I'm able to manage to find are enclosures that include hard disk drives using them, and they are generally ridiculously expensive.

What drives can you use, or what do you recommend?

Where are you located? There are plenty of empty single, double and quad external enclosures on the market. If we knew where you were we could help direct you better to an appropriate e-tailer.

I don't know what the problem is. There are cheap external enclosures all over the place. Especially in your part of the world. Sanoxy, Dynex, Zalman, Patriot, Rosewill, Thermaltake all make cheap ones.
