    Ruse

    Game: R.U.S.E.
    DLC: Unknown
    Duration: Unknown
    Developer: Eugen Systems
    Publisher: Ubisoft
Release Date: 9/7/2010 US, 9/10/2010 (UK)
    Beta: 3/9/2010
    Genre: Real-time Strategy
    Modes: Single player, Multiplayer, Co-Op
    Demo: 8/25/2010
Video: Trailer, Game Play 1 and 2

R.U.S.E is a RTS WW2 game that uses decoys/ruses as strategies to trick their enemies. The game's complexity level appears to be high however, one should reserve judgement until they play the beta which is released today. There are a total of 6 factions in this game. The single player aspect will cover several major theaters of WW2 which are:
-North Africa (Battle of the Kasserine Pass)
    -Italy (Battle of Monte Cassino)
    -France (the invasion of Normandy)
-Netherlands, the Ardennes (the Battle of the Bulge)
    -Germany

A player can use a system of decoys (Ruses) in an attempt to mislead their opponent. There are a total of ten or so ruses that a player can use. Which are divided into 3 catagories:
-Reveal information (Decryption or the Spy Plan)
-Hide information (Radio Silence or Camouflage Net)
-Fake structures/units(Decoy Offensive, Dummy Building, Cammouflage Net, Terror, Fanaticism, Reverse Intel)

This game also uses Solisanim that does motion capture. From the glimpses I've seen so far it's the best voice acting/animation I've seen, period. However, I've only seen glimpses of them. Mocap suites were used along with special camera glasses to get facial expressions for animation.

Wow, there is absolutely no load time from the main menu to the actual game. This game looks like COH but on a much larger scale. Gameplay is different from COH though.

This game will have touch screen support. Does anyone have a touch screen monitor? I know win7 support multitouch.

I love this. Not as complicated as I thought but it's the right amount.

Yeah, there is a slight learning curve with this one. But once you got it all figured out it's really fun to play.

Nah I think it is pertaining to the Netherlands AND the Ardennes. Don't forget that the "Bulge" starts near Eindhoven (NED), through Belgium and Luxembourg and up to Alsace (FRA).

EDIT: I remembered incorrectly; the Bulge ends just south of the Belgian-Dutch border. I would think they've included the "limited" offensive by the Allies on going in the vicinity of Arnhem, prior to the Ardennes offensive by the Germans.

There is an update for the beta. I think it added a new Ruse because I don't recall seeing it before (forgot the name of it).

This is an interesting new spin on RTS looks nice love the overview, but can i see myself playing it very long probably not its like a slow paced build up of heavy units and capture the resource points. Not what i crave from a RTS which is fast paced strategy and cunning.
