LOL you guys kill me. I'm for real , ask W1zzard he has been online with me . I "loaned" him the card to get the dumps for GPU-Z 0.2.4. he will assure you the card is real. the old one would show 480 the corrected one shows the proper 800. It would be pretty tuff to fake registry dumps he is taking himself.
and yes I'm just a welder by day from a small town in Indiana. not a pro hardware guy , I do run a phase cooled quadfire rig at 4+ ghz daily and have previously held the 3850 wr.s on hwbot. I know my way around cards some.I had really no time before getting the card and posting the first part.I only rec'd the card thur. by monday morning the performance is known, the shaders confirmed, lots of rumors put to rest and I even sucsessfully v-modded it to take advantage of the obviously knee-capped performance of the card. heck 25.5k single card at only 700mhz in vista no less. that's pretty good for a 200 dollar card IMO.
