    Hi all,

I have been a member here for 3 and a half years, along that hardware and overclocking journey I have made many many friends (as far as friends can be on the www!), even those that I dont know well enuff to call friends who I have much respect for will be sadly missed but I must say a fond farewell to you all.

For those of you that know me well..... you will know that i am old! have a fairly demanding career and also have a family and a granddaughter, the mix of all these elements are increasingly making it difficult to spend any really usefull time on TPU (ATM most of my time on these forums is spent during my lunchtime at work)....... TPU is the only forum for me that really matters, it has taught me so much and that journey has been a pleasure, especially in the company of many of you....... I do feel however that I dont just want to be a "hanger on".... if I dont have the time to contribute meaningfully to the many threads in these forums I feel that I am letting myself down as much as my fellow members, so i feel it's time to make the break and "call it a day".

I am not really into drama, many of us go back a long time, to those members I would like to say....... It's been a real pleasure, there is no doubt in my mind, this forum remains the best on the Interwebz, for those of you that i dont know quite as well...... It remains a pleasure, and to anyone (albeit it VERY rare) that I have had minor differences with during my stay here..... thank you also, you all know who you are and I am not going to name you, lastly i would like to thank the awesome moderators (without exception) here that truly define the quality of this forum and it's "family atmosphere" but finally I must say a very BIG "thank you" to W1z, who through his wisdom and perseverance has made this community what it is today.

Thank you all and goodbye :toast:

Ah man! Another one bites the dust from the class of 06. You will be missed big time. I remember trying to beat your old 4000+ San Diego chip in super pi with my Venice 3800. I joined a mere 6 days after you. You will be missed, I always loved your posts.

WTF Tatty. I have everything you do minus the grandchild. I still find time for TPU. Of course I haven't fed the dog in a while..........I wonder what that smell is.

Anyway man I hope you at least stop by ONCE in a while and check your PM's and such. The occasional "drop of knowledge" you provided was always a breath of fresh air among internet smog. I'm still a noob but without guys like you on TPU I would have burned my house down by now. Thanks man.

Sad to see you go Tatty, your posts were always informative and you contributed a lot to this forum.

I hope you will still stop by from time to time, and I almost know the pull to come back will grow in you until you can't resist it...I know how that happens...

Even still, if you have the time to just make one post a day trying to help someone, you should, it might make the difference between someone's problem being solves or not.

Very well agreed. You see these forums differently than most, almost as a dedication, and it is sad to see you go. There will be a massive loss of intelligence in your leave.

Take care, tatty, Ill make sure your 260 runs for as long as possible. You'll be missed mate. Your one of the people, along with Jr that I can remember talking to from day one. Always a friendly face and willing to help out, weather it be comparisons between C2D or C2Q, or trade advice - you've always helped me out and for that I say thank you.
