Sapphire RX 6700 XT Pulse Memory Clock Speed gets stuck at 0 MHz. (Searching for VBIOS in the thread)

Hi everyone.
I recently built a system with a Sapphire RX 6700 XT Pulse and have been having issues.
Long story short, I've had crashes so bad during gaming that the GPU was disabled in Device Manager after reboot and I had to enable it.
Another thing I've noticed is that once I boot up the system and browse firefox for a bit, the GPU Memory Clock Speed gets stuck at 0MHz and stays there.
The only way to get it unstuck is to set the monitor to 144Hz and then back to 165Hz.
After a while it gets stuck again.
I even sent the system to a professional and he supposedly fixed it by flashing the VBIOS but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Both AMD Adrenalin and GPU-Z show the Memory Clock Speed at 0.
Is the GPU defective do you think?
Is there a way for me to find the original VBIOS on the card, in case I have to send it back? (I don't think the dude that flashed it thought to keep a backup)
I would appreciate any help.
Thank you.

Ps: I have tried both AMD Cleanup Utility and DDU (both on safe mode).

If you roll back to the 23.12.1 driver, does the issue persist? Or, move onto the new 24.2.1, and see if it persists.

My kid has been complaining about hit system crashing recently. He has a 5800x and a 6700xt Hell Hound, he has rolled back to 23.12.1 it seems more stable. I will reach out to him and ask him to check his memory clock speeds after he is browsing the internet. (I know the card is different, just want to rule out possible driver bug)

From what I remember the crashing was present when I was on the 23.12.1 drivers but I wasn't knowledgeable enough to check the memory clock back then.
I'll try a clean windows install tomorrow and setup the 24.2.1 drivers, but I'm not expecting much because the dude I sent the PC to already tried a clean install (I'm currently on 24.1.1)
I should also mention that I did try both AMD Cleanup Utility and DDU (both on safe mode).

Hi, everyone.
Since there doesn't seem to be a solution to my issue I'd like to ask again:
Is there a way for me to find the original VBIOS on the card so that I can send it back without warranty issues?
I bought it a little more than a couple months ago so the warranty hasn't expired.
I just don't want to give them a reason to tell me the warranty is void because of flashed VBIOS.

GPUz to get the Version on it. Just match the make and model.

There is one verified version which doesn't mention Micron Memory Support and then a couple unverified ones that do mention it.
How can I find out which one is the original one?

When you run GPU Z, which memory does it say you have?

I did have to look back. Brainfart on that. Your device ID says this is the bios that should be installed?

From what I'm seeing this is the version I have currently.
Does this mean that the person that flashed the VBIOS basically did it with the version the card had previously already?

Unfortunately all these VBIOS versions I posted have the same device ID.
These are the numbers that are different:

That is the version that goes with your card, with the Micro Memory. It looks like all other Pulse models have Samsung. Unless someone else that has a 6700xt pulse has Micron Memory.

So I am just asking.. Did you get the card used? It could mean that it has been repaired prior to you having it, or that the cooler was replaced with a pulse cooler, when it should have a reference model cooler on it. I honestly dont know, I am no expert on the matter.

But, it shows you have micro memory, and that is the bios that goes with it. It could be flashed, and auto detect isnt working correctly, or something wonky, as its looking for Samsung Memory and you have Micron Memory so the sensor is not registering.

Correct. I would use the bios that matches your Device ID from GPU Z.

I have not installed a bios on a card in a long time. Not sure if it will ask you what type of memory, but the vbois I posted says auto detect so I would assume it supports both.

It's a new card and currently has the VBIOS version you sent me.
As I mentioned previously, a professional flashed it because of the Memory Clock Speed issue I've been having.
I'm just trying to ascertain whether he flashed it with the same version it had already when I bought it, or if it's a different version.
Btw, I hope I'm not coming off as rude, english is not my mothertongue so I apologize if that is the case.

No worries there. I can understand wanting to know what bios the shop put on. From the software, it says Micron, the only other way to verify it, is to pull the cooler off and look at the memory module it self. If you do that, you have to be careful not to tear the thermal pads that cool the memory. You will also need to have thermal paste, to apply a fresh layer after cleaning off the old.

Sorry I cant be of more help.

I don't want to risk anything that might void the warranty so I won't disassemble it.
I'll send it back the way it is and hope they don't claim I damaged it somehow.
No worries, thank you for all your help.
