my case in the case gallery was get bashed because it has an intel in it and some ass said that 3000 beats out my 660 i will do one better let compare 4200 64 bit and the 660 they r both 400 on newegg (but am sure you creative amd fans will find a lower price to stir up some more shit) and both 64 bit processers so lets go to toms for some help to see who should get our hard earned money http://www23.tomshardware.com/index.html

I doubt this thread will become very constructive, just some more flaming. It takes just 1 person to take the oppertunity to start flamewar and this thread is closed.

but they do have an amd fx 57 and all of the test the 660 is a little ahead or a little behind the 57 does out beat the 660 on sandra merory test pretty good but that doesnt matter because in a catagory that intel is usely storng in it doesn't apply just game benchmarks right which for personal exsperence my 660 run all my games at highest setting(8aa/16af) get no gliches smooth like an amd but none of you guys dont ripp music to your cumputer i guess or burn cd or dvd right i mean no bigg deal unless you just built a rig and you have like 100 or 2 cd to put on your hard drive or u dont mind waitingt an extra 10 minute to burn that dvd for your friend right

Don't make a big deal of this dude, an Intel 660 is a very nice cpu. When this topic of "AMD vs. Intel", it's just a war waiting to happen. People get mad, then people get out of had, and then the mods have to come in and deal with it.

Cpu's are not everything when it comes to computers. It's also quite difficult to compair a AMD to an Intel, totally different design. So don't even bother with it. A lot of it is personal preference.

Intels = Better for regular apps and multitasking
AMDs = Better for gaming

But it's not like they both can't do the opposite. This is like nVidia vs ATI. The performance is so close it's really not even worth arguing. I remember one guy on another forum said the only reason he got his ATI over an nVidia because the gargoyle on the box looked sweet.

By the way, I've seen your system in the case gallery and it's a very nice one indeed. Thumbs up man.
