Hey guys we want add a second fan to my friends Corsair H60 (old one). We don't have the screws and we can't buy the additional screw kit that corsair sells since they are not available in our crappy country. So can we get our screws from a normal hardware store that sells paint, screws etc? If we can what kind of screws should we buy? I think M3x30MM screws would be enough for radiator but we are afraid of the possibility that we might damage the rad. And also, we have a spare fan for the case but we can't find the screws for it. What kind of screws do we need for the case fan also?

Yes, 30mm is the standard for 25mm fans, leaving 5 mm to screw into the rad. I believe that Corsair rads have the holes positioned so that a long screw won't hit cooling tubes, just maybe bend some fins without damaging the rad, but you should always check each mounting hole to be sure you won't hit water. In the past I've had to buy longer screws and cut them to length because you won't find the exact right length in a hardware store.

M3 would work, i think what your looking for is 6/32 type screws if you can find them M3 you would have to use a nut between the rad fins and the back side of the mount tab and it should work just fine. as for the case fan screws you probably wont find them in a hardware store but a local electronics shop might have them - they are quite common in that aspect.

Pretty sure Corsair rads use M 3.5?

If 6/32 screws are hard to find in your country but metric sizes are easy then you could do what I always do to radiators with that screw size, get an M4 thread tap. M4 x 30 mm screws are a lot easier to find in Europe.
