    Hello,

In the spirit of those who have given back to the community in the past, I'd like to offer a new giveaway. Anyone remember the days of whole walls of enemies rushing at you? Perhaps you've heard about Mental's horde?

That's right, it's time to get Serious!

    The Rules:
1)There will be two categories. Those members who have been making this forum great since before January 2012, and those new members who have a bright future here.
    2) Serious Sam is one of the quintessential 90's video games. Every entry post must have a name you'd use for your protagonist, were you to make your own game.
    3) Everyone gets one entry. Multiple submissions may be made, but only one submission per member will be considered for the competition.
    4) Any posting without a protagonist name will be disqualified.
    5) Any patently offensive or overtly inflamatory posts will be reported. Tongue-in-cheek names are tons of fun, but please keep it clean enough for everyone (SFW only).

How the winner will be chosen:
    1) Contest runs from 8:00 am Sunday May 20th to Saturday May 26th at 8:00 pm (all times eastern standard, North America). Winners will be determined on Sunday the 27th of May.
    2) All valid entries will be input into a spreadsheet, and separated into newer and older members.
    3) A random number will be generated, which will determine the winner of each prize.
    4) Winners will be PM'd, as well as having their names posted in this thread. Winners have 48 hours once PM'd to respond to me.
    5) Any potential winner that does not respond within 48 hours will be disqualified, and a new winner will be chosen. This process will continue until there are two winners.

    The Prizes:
Both will be the same. Steam codes (3 total, 1 for each game) for Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, and Serious Sam 3: BFE. That's right, all three Serious Sam games (updated HD versions of course) in one easy to play package.

If you've already got one of the titles, I ask that winners please share the activation code(s) with a friend that doesn't have the game. I'd love to see the winners get another person in on the manic fun! There's nothing like sharing a good game with the people around you, and already buying into this franchise should never disqualify you from being a winner.

To all of you, best of luck! I look forward to seeing the names for the protagonists of the future.
theJesus, Vinska, de.das.dude and 9 others say thanks.

If I were to make one game, and name the protagonist, I would name him Sam or Max. and No I haven't played and I haven't even seen the gameplay of the game Sam and Max.

The name just sounds cool. Sam/Max.

    EDIT: Max Fightmaster

Well, Major Payne, Lt. Bill Kilgore, Leroy Jethro Gibbs and Batman Bin Suparman are three awesome characters and a real guy, therefore the names are already taken.
I'll go with Stirling Steelboone McGibfrag.

I'd have to go with the protagonist name Dave Monolith.

I was always partial to the name of the producer of the old TV series "Tour of Duty" which was Zev Braun. I'd probably change it to Zev Brawn. Funny how some things stick in your mind, I was in junior high when that series was airing:)

You know, I feel kind of foolish.

Not a single response from somebody new to this site. Here's to hoping that changes soon.

Excellent start everyone, six more days of fun left!

Not sure about this not being a sale thread, but I'm going to go for a bump.

Less than 4 days remain. Get in while you can.
