    its an athlon x2, probably one of the later versions that were soldered... that happens when you cut them, and try to remove the IHS:D

    Wile, is that hot glue in the 775 socket?

    nope thats all dielectric grease in the socket, and melted wb/pcb. no hot glue though. TEC's can be awesome but very dangerous if something goes wrong.
