Silicon Graphics Inc, the one time high-flyer and contender to the UNIX crown, is having some rough times, with the company's stock plummeting more than 20% on Friday...well into the "penny stock" category... just days after reaching it's fiscal Q4 results. The Mountain View, California maker of high end workstations is 'exploring financing alternatives with it's lend and other sources.' With losses mounting and investors giving the thumbs down, things are not looking good for SGI.
