I share my Youtube account with my friend. This account is connected with my google account. So for example when i change the google search page background,my friend can see that background. Also he can see my email address which i use for that account. So i'm curious can he also see my browsing history and other sites i'm logged into? Or is that just something that browser stores on my PC and can't bee seen by my friend?

Yes he can. All you have to do is go to browsing history. If you don't want him to see it you have to disable this manually. Also why in hell would you do this? Google accounts are free man.

Yes google will cache all the information. Like if I save my passwords and usernames for my accounts as I am browsing, he has access to that in his location as well.

We are sharing Youtube account. So we are both uploading videos on it. Unfortunately for some reason (don't know why or how) my YT account and Google account are the same it seems. If i change my password for YT acc,it gets changed for google acc. I don't want to share my google acc with him but it's just the way it is now.

Create a new account just for you guys to share. OR create another account just for you. No need for him to see what porn you prefer.

Yea you can but the whole point of google and google chrome is to be able to log in anywhere and access your login info for websites and favorites.

I've not looked into it, but doesn't google allow you to give another google account limited rights to post pictures or do whatever, so that your friend can't pry into your private life?

Just don't use chrome. If you use any other browser Google will not track that information and he won't have access to it. Actually I think there is even an option in chrome to not attach the browser to your account.

Thats not true. Google tracks all browsing history when you are signed in. You have to manually pause it in the privacy settings.

No, it tracks search history and what you clicked on from google searches, not browsing history. And by default even that is turned off, you have to enable it manually before it starts tracking your searches.

You're making it sound like it saves your full history. It saves pages visited through Google, but not addresses you type in, from yahoo, etc.

That is what I get when I go to the privacy settings, it isn't activated by default on any of my accounts. However, I guess it is possible that my accounts were grandfathered in and new accounts are on be default, I haven't created a new account in a while.
