    Hey guys,

In my PC I currently have a 7990 and 7970 running and everything has been working perfectly. However, I actually have a second 7970 which is not being used, but I do have the room for in my PC. The question that I had was whether or not it a 1050w PSU would suffice for my system if i were to run the two 7970s and the one 7990. If not, would you say that it would be worth spending an extra 300 dollars and upgrading my PSU to be able to run the three? I believe the 7970 that isn't being used was about $450.

I was also wondering if there was like some special crossfire bridge which would allow me to connect all three at once.

    Thanks :)

Nope... quad or triple crossfire not good as dual, and almost not adding power.

4 GPU's in XFire wouldn't offer much improvement at all over 3 in XFire. From what I remember scaling gets very sketchy above dual card XFire, so I don't think buying a new PSU for the 4th GPU wpuld be worth it unless you intend to F@H or do WCG. Probably best to sell the extra 7970.
    AnarchyLegion and Paladone say thanks.

Definitly agree with Rcoon. 4 cards in crossfire wouldn't give you much improvement over 3.

    I would stick with dual 7990s ;)

Personally I would sell all of them and get a 780 Ti. Multi-GPUs just have too many problems in the long run with either microstutter on some games or awful SLI/Crossfire scaling.

I thought you had to have the same GPU model to do Xfire or SLI?
