It's easy. Buy tools, the service manual to your car, then proceed to tear it apart. No better way to learn than getting your hands dirty.

Ask pros for help on which aftermarket power parts to install. Knowing which parts to install comes with time and experience. Until you gain that experience, you just confer with some seasoned builders.

Yeah kinda like PCs lol. Only thing I hate though is if you look at used cars here someone has tried to do it up half assed, so if you want a cheap car that's popular to modify or something someone has added some shite to it so you have to pay extra, can't find an 86 Corolla for a decent price because people have added stuff to it, I'd rather start from scratch.

Hopefully in a couple of years I can get a good running Silvia or something, don't see alot of them around, all you see around here is ricers, Honda Civics with 20" chrome wheels and some cheap tacky bodykit :shadedshu

Always puts a smile on my face when I hear a blow-off valve and the car has a sort of low profile look to it, it's nice to see it's not some some tool in his Honda Civic with racing stripes 20" rims and a fart pipe exhaust on a stock engine.

Yeah, I'm a sleeper builder. I prefer understated cars that speak with their performance, not their looks. The most important part to make pretty is the back of the car, because if things go my way, it's all anyone will ever see. :D

I'm still searching for a clean s13. You are right about AE86's and S13's. It's damn near impossible to find a stock one, or at least a modified one that's tastefully done.

Cheers :) Saw the pic on a forum a while back, loved it, and a fresh OS install beckoned the use of it :) It ties in with my WAW install too :D
