Signature Character Limit Changed?

My signature used to work just fine. However I went in to change it today now it is saying it is 113 characters too long! I don't think my signature is really too long.
 
So has the limit changed or what?

I think you can actually upload .gif.
Please don't upload animated, we will remove any animated avatars.
 
Kinda defeats the purpose.

300 seems a little low, like I said my sig is 113 characters over, and I don't think my sig is all that big or obtrusive. Before the forum switch my sig worked fine.

Would you consider raising it to maybe 450 characters?

Thanks for painting a big target on yourself, I removed both avatars. Please don't make me write an addon to block animated avatars.
 
I saw a few animated avatars and was like "WTF?! When did W1z start allowing animated avatars?"

Also, I never got the whole changing avatars constantly thing. I've had the same avatar pretty much since I've joined. I think the only change has been to add the F@H logo. But maybe its because I'm an old man now, and am still suck back in the days where your avatar was you, it represented you just as much as your screenname, so once you picked one you stuck with it... Man, I'm old.:cry:
 
Mine got lost in the transition to the new look I guess. I was hoping for a animated one though.
