the front vent is for the PSU intake and is filtered.. silverstone generally ensures all its intakes are filtered..


infact, all intakes of this case(front-psu, side-gpu+hdd & top-cpu) seem to be filtered.. check the

but i agree, not impressed with looks

One thing that exploded diagram doesn't show is how the drives mount - behind the motherboard tray - so I'm guessing 3.5" drives might be out of the question due to their thickness. Also not sure why they went with 2x 92mm + 1x 120mm on the side panel and not simply 3x 120mm.

Apart from that, it seems very functional so I don't really care how it looks. What I want to know is how it performs WRT to temps and noise.

you are right about the drives behind MB.. 3.5" x2 + 2.5" x4(below the 3.5") as mentioned in the OP..

this one for u..


might be a tight fit though.. and not sure if the cooling would be good..

Remember that this is a 23 liter case that supports matx motherboards, huge cpu coolers and standard PS and graphics accelerators! All for $110.
