Damn, 2 x 8pin to power this badboy
Super cool! I really don't think that dual-socket motherboards are really necessary for the desktop market. Either way I'd take it for free.
24-pin @ center left of the board too. wtf are the 2x8pins for? 24 isn't nearly enough?
lol it does have two cpus
I take it by your system specs that you dont have a 4-pin or even 8-pin I got a 8-pin its two 4-pins
Hence the need for 1200w power supplies I suppose.
2x Yorkfields on this bad boy.....this is insanity.
Look at that NB cooler
^ You mean SB cooler. The SB plays arbiter for the PEG here.
Yes sorry lol.
Is this yours, slade?
^^ no its mine! hurry up and release it! lol. My new galaxy psu would compliment that mobo nicely, I also have a e-atx case
Edit: looks like it has 2 north bridges too :O
no read the link. seriously these things will fly and i expect they will one day be selling them to normal users
now if i said that, you'd call me emo..
bah thats insane...
cdawall quietly pings some IPs and plans an extended trip to "borrow" these boards
I'm not telling it with sentiments, I'm being cynical.
You were being sympathetic lol
is it just me or does that hs look like a waterblock(looks completely closed in, no fins visible, etc.) with a fan on top? and is it just me or is that a threaded hole for a water cooling barb?
can't be a water-block. If a pipe goes in there, how can I put in a 2slot video card?
look closer its no wc thing
Where is that link taking me to ? some radeon card!
its subliminal messaging he is trying to get us to buy a HD3850
ugh sry rong link lol
it looks like its just a hole in the top of the case?
Yup, it's just a hole. on a quick glance you could be fooled thinking it's a hole with thread. Lighter note: The board comes with fun-holes too...yippie!
What looks like threading actually are the ribs of the heatsink...from Morgoth's pic
