Sli question

Is it normal for the first card is run a bit warmer than the second card?
My monitor is connected to the 1 gpu .This is my first sli setup so i was not sure,most likely is normal ......but id thought i just ask

Hi.

I don't really know of it's normal. But it could be explained that the cards are not one hundred % the same. Or the airflow nearby the cards is different.
And it could also be explained that the first card is the master and has to do draw some extra power.

Seems a bit better now, only just put the vf900`s on ...i guess it needed a bit of time for the cooler to settle in

Even if load is shared evenly the thermal paste or airflow might differ per card, they're healty temps so I wouldn't worry.

Fans are in silent mode (1,350 rpm) much better now

Can also be the fact that hot air rises from the second card heats up the first card.
