Sony plans 8GB Walkman

So we call it MP3 player, but because its Sony we call it Walkman. The current model of the Walkman, the NW-A1000 has a 6GB capacity, and can be had for around 169€s if you look hard enough. The new NW-A1200 will ship in mid-June and will come with SonicStage CP jukebox.

I'm a big fan of sony but I've heard their software isn't too great which is why I got an iPod over one if their MP3 players. At least iTunes is reliable and not too buggy.

i have a sony NW-HD5,
1 year on,
sonicstage is evil, it was literaly coded to torture users, my player hangs from time to time, not too often, battery life is good, has a normal miniUSB connector so cables are 2-3 bucks,

the new walkmans are worst, im seeing that the miniusb is gone in favor of a propietary connector, that means expencive replacement cables, the shape makes it look larger, probobly unconfy in tyour pockets, still no radio, still no recorder, still no decent format support,

still conviced i should have bought a cowon

Sony has their heads stuck up their asses. At least they support WMA/MP3 now. But everything else screams PROPRIETY!
