Spare 5.25 drive bays

hey guys, I have about 4 open 5.25inch drive bays, all right next to one another. I was wondering if there was anything I might be able to put there so that I could use all the space available to me, especially since its a large empty area.

I have a front panel cover, so fans are out of the question, and I don't need water cooling. And so I am unsure of what I could put there, I again have 4 open 5.25, and a 2.25 floppy bay all open.

I got a drawer I never use anymore. No shit. Made by Thermaltake; black, kinda glossy plastic. Far from the ugliest and/or dumbest thing I've ever seen shoved in a case bay. Used to keep thumb drives, important screws and the like, random adapters etc in there.

You can buy a hard drive adapter rack that is made to fit into adjacent 5.25 drive bays that will allow you to mount 3 to 4 3.5" hard drives in there if you should need some more hard drive space.

You could convert 3-5.25" bays into your 3.5" HDD bay with this:

Yeah i was thinking of one of those but was not sure if it would fit other cases with the fan on it.

Unlike the ones thats come with the Armor case those of egg are alu so very easy to mod just less fun as there's no sparks from my dremmel

Dude, it will TOTALLY fit in there. That whole unit, including the fan on the side, is designed to fit into empty 5.25 drive bays. It'll fit. No worries. That's what it's made for. No modding necessary.

The fans on the front not the side and the reason i said it was due to trying with another case.

Yeah, it's been doing good for my CM 690 for a while now, and I still have another 5.25 bay for a fan controller if I choose to get one.
