Static across screen during overclock

A couple of static lines will come across my screen like a TV losing signal (Black and white dots) when I overclock my 5970 to 800MHZ Core clock from 725MHZ

Any answers?

I take the clock back down adn it's fine... I havent touched it since cause I dont wanna damage my card

Teams and V's dont change

that's artefacting buddy * overclock to high) back your clocks down 5 to 20Mhz or until it stops then back it down 10 moar after that
it wouldn't cause damage its just the card "telling you hey I can't go that fast"
