Has anyone played this game? I'm downloading now. There once was a time when I hated Steam, but not anymore.

I got it about 6 months ago. It's a pretty cool game, like L4D in some sense but more in-depth. Visuals are OK, it's well optimized. The whole thing feels like some sort of mod to me, not like a real game. Idk what it's missing, but it's missing something. Feels to me like it was thrown together in 2 weeks or something.

Well, Killing Floor was a Unreal Tournament 2004 modification before. It's still enjoyable though. AI needs some work though.

Like your teammate AI? I have not once played single player. I always play online, just more fun and I'm not cut off from the world.

well seeing that lfd pretty much copied killing floor, look at the special enemies in killing floor that was created 2003-2004 then compare it to the enemies in l4d...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!! really close resemblence just diffrent names, sad thing is they didnt ever care to change the specials zombies abilities there almost identical\

Too bad Killing Floor isn't that good or perhaps they would of sold more games. At least I would think I would see more people playing it. Definitely a little copying going on for sure, but L4D does it better, no doubt.

Well for me, L4D has character and style, and KF does not. Yeah, mutant zombies and everything's dirty, what a breakthrough. But at least the whole custom map and mod aspect works well.

i use to play this game all the time when it was a free UT2004 mod i even made maps for it back then.

I just bought the game a few months ago agin and it iswayyyy better than the UT2004 version so it was worth the 20 bucks

Now I am always down to try free games and I am glad I did...L4D is better than killing floor no doubt about it. Killing Floor runs smooth and looks decent, however like L4D, I am just not in to it.

I don’t like the trader part after waves and going from game to game, I didn’t keep any weapons I purchased in previous games. Obviously I am a nublet as this is the second day I’ve played but it just doesn’t seem like a full fledged worth my money to buy game. it’s like a well done mini game with zombies/infected things.
