I just tried all of the steam mods which are free games . They are HL2 modifications and they are pretty fun,

My favourite is the DIPRIP, then Insurgency, Zombie Panic:SOurce

a game isnt F'ing coop, if you need humans on both teams!

yea black mesa source is taking its time its been like 3 years since i remember all the talk about it they changed the name to black mesa now i believe but not much is going on with it atm

yea its still good fun but im waiting for the mod brain bread source also a zombie game but all players are human and you get tasks for your whole team to carry out. it was on hl1 engine first now there making a source version like all of the other modders did for their games

Zombie Panic Source is one of my Favs, especially with the HeyMedic! Plugin. I love Synergy, and my favorite of all: Noxious Zombies on GMOD.

And i meaned ones aimed for 2-5 players, that arent left4dead (because its not out yet)

MINERVA- Metastasis
and PVK II are my 2 favorite hl2 mods

they are not on steam yet, but minerva is easily the best hl2 mod out there (single player)
and PVK II is one of the best multiplayer mods out there

PVK are amazing games

i would recommend a headset of mic for zombie panic tho as you need to work as a team and drop ammo for you team mates

Rainbow Six Raven Shield.

Squad based tactical shooter.

Thats the only game that will give you single player/mission cooperative mode and a Team Survival mode where its PvP squad fighting which requires a lot of cooperation to win.
