Steelseries siberia v2 white

Hi,
i bought headset steelseries siberia v2 (white) and after maybe one week white cable started to be pink and now i have on the cable pink spots. I dont know how i can clean it.

clean?... not advised.

best option is 'return'.

appears chemicals in the environment are damaging the cable coating... not easy to fix.

IMPORTANT: even IF you can return/fix, you need to find source of chemical damage or your risk damaging cable again.

if you must 'fix' the cable try bleach.

soak the 'cable only' overnight in a bowl of bleach and water.
DO NOT GET BLEACH ON HEADSET OR PLUG.

once finished soaking rinse cable under warm tap water to remove excess bleach.

My set does not have pink spots. If it isn't something you accidentally sprayed on the cable, I would for sure contact their support.

I know they make pink Siberia headsets, so maybe they had an overstock of pink cables and just sprayed/painted over them. Best bet is to return it and exchange it for a different pair.
