i wish i could show you guys a pic of what is happening but i cant. i was just surfing the web (imdb.com) and watching a video clip. i clicked the enlarge button and my entire system locked up. it was a pattern of red checkers and i could still see part of the screen through the colored checkers. im guessing this is GPU fail. this happened one other time but it was after an overnight session of folding@home with the gpu and the cpu. heat is not an issue and ive run prime95 for 5 hours and it is solid and ive run furmark on the gpu for 1.5 hours and no issues at all. i have all vista updates and driver updates. any ideas?

It's possible it could of been some sort of conflict between the browser, app. playing the video, and your video drivers. It's probablly just a fluke. Did you check the error log for anything?
