I would like to hear your opinions and suggestions on this matter.
I currently own a logitech z-5500, and, though it does have it's nice points...Im kinda tired of dealing with its troubles- tired of reconfig every once in awhile the cables cause the signals get "mixed", tired of dealing with its config & necessary distance from other gadgets & tired of getting the darn things repaired <a right sat got screwed & the center chan has died 2 times, all with no reason for doing so>:
So, Im willing to move to another brand/system. For quite some time I have pondered going audiophile route, with some serious settings, though I have not jumped yet in because of having to deal with av receivers & other stuff like that. It is fine & dandy, & Im not really scared about having to deal with those "extras" but at the same time...well...I would also like to have <cling?> to the "easy" plug & play kind of set up. Sooo....with that said. What do you suggest? Obviously creative & logitech are OUT. other good quality speakers are limited to 2. 0 or 2.1, so...the options are very very few, actually, the other option that comes to my mind right now is Teufel, but I certainly have no experience with'em & cant find any review, at least not of the recent & tougher set-ups, if you got some other great options, please post'em before I "limit" myself on thinking how to deal with Mirage, polk audio, Anthony Gallo, etc etc etc
Thanks in advance.
