Well the summers on its way in the Uk been hot for tha last 4 or 5 days now and its gonna get alot hotter so far ive seen a 4c temp rise at ide 38c to 42c overclocked.
Just thought id mention it this might be best in general nonsence but just a good idea to keep a close eye on temps now summers here and gpu temps.

I'm thinking about TEC, but I want to do it without surpassing ambient temps...unless I can 100% guarantee making my board condensation proof while at the same time not making it ugly.

I've been getting 4-5c increases in temps. I really want to go all out water, but I'll give summer a little more time yet..

Not much, just 2-3*C with my water cooler. I used to see BIG differences, but not since making the switch to H20.

In Spain we're starting to notice the summer ... though it's just spring the ambient temp of my room upraised from 19-20ºC to 26-27ºC these last two weeks, the Motherboard temp it's now 29-32ºC ... and i'm considering myself very lucky for upgrading my water stuff 3 weeks ago, idle temps are 30-34ºC and after 8-10 hours of full load it's about 42-44ºC ... so i think i don't need the TEC yet :D

    Long live to W/C! :toast:

ps: I should add that i'm living on an attic and 2 months ago, ambient temp of 17-18ºC ... with a "high-end" air system under 1.37V and 3.4Ghz full temps were about 57-59ºC
