ok im really pissed with my super pi scores, im scoring just 45s for 1m on a amdx2 3800+ stock, is this normal ? also i cant oc the shit out of it because my mobo has no oc features, can only get to 2.35 in windows with gigabyte easytune :banghead: i was blinded by the cheap price of my mobo and the fact it was nforce4 as i had an nforce3 before but from what ive seen nf4 is poo anyone confirm this ? another thing i think running an nf2/3/4 board with ati is wrong, i do constantly get lag and reboot/freezes, kinda puts a downer on the fact i had to spend £500 on my system minus the hdd (thats when amdx2 first came out and 3800+ was £250) f*ck amd and intel, evry attempt i make at having a badass system they take the goddam piss out of me and say thanks for the £ amd/intel the new m$ ?

um dude... super pi is single core performance...you have a dual core clocked at a slower speed then a single core 3700. there is also no problems with running a aticard on a nforce board. i can however garentee your shitty performance and overclocking are due to the pisspoor motherboard. gigabyte prolly just locked it in the bios... spend about $100 on a new mobo and your system will be much faster.

nForce4 isn't poo, it's just that if you get a cheap motherboard, even if it has nForce4, it'll suck.

Mt 3200+ goes to 2.6, but that's when I wanted to stop. I could've gotten higher, but it's hot here in Az, so it affects my other temps too.

DFI mobo's, King of the overclockers !!!!!! But if you get one dont expect it to perform at the BIOS auto settings. No mobo manufacture will give you as many options to over clock as DFI.
