hi all, i have just bought a Swiftech H20-220 compact kit and a CoolerMaster Cosmos 1000 and i was thinking i could mount the radiator in the top of the cosmos where the two 120mm fans are.

today my brain turned on and i realized that the radiator is a radiator/reservoir combo, so dose this rule out being able to horizontally mounting the radiator (because of leakage) ?

It should be mounted vertically. Use the radbox in the rear.

I have put that kit in 3 computers for customers, its really nice for just a CPU solution but when I added GPU and NB to it the temps werent that great(only about 2 or 3 deg below air). Granted that it much more quiet. The kit worked really well for me in all 3 installs though and I havent heard of any of them failing, the pump is a modified MCP350, which I have used in my PC for over 2 years now. No problems whatsoever.

Alot of people on the egg complain about the kit failing and I couldnt figure why>?? has swiftech started to go cheap on us??!

    rampage says thanks.

in time if i add a second 240mm radiator to this loop do you think the pump can handle it, also what about a extra 240mm radiator and a gpu block ???

I dont think its going to have the power for a 2nd loop. You should just get a seperate system and swap the CPU for a GPU block, and keep the two loops seperate.

That way your monstrously hot GTX doesnt heat up the CPU.

Also dont forget to send me your old air cooler when you're done, i could use a spare =D
