system build, help plox!

    hi all!
    i want to get a new computer for modelling/rendering operations in 3ds Max..
    my budget is 1200$ USD
    I am not going to overclock and play much games,

    cpu: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T 3.3 GHz, 9 MB, AM3 BOX Black Edition
    hdd: WESTERN DIGITAL 1 TB SATA III HDD 64MB Caviar Black 6GB/s WD1002FAEX

    motherboard: something that supports sata III and usb 3.0
    ram: 8gb but which Mhz and CL?
    graphics card : something really moderate i will play Heroes of Newerth, and Dota 2/Diablo 3 in future

    Screen : Lcd 21" or bigger
    Psu: no idea ?!
    Case: no idea ?!

    can anyone help me with these settings?

    Assuming you've decided on the parts that you mentioned, DDR3-1333 should be enough unless DDR3-1600 costs only a bit more (CL9 will work but faster the better).

    As for graphics card GTX460 should handle Diablo3 when it eventually comes out, Blizzard is known to make games suitable for even low-end graphics, but GTX460 will give you pretty good gameplay.

    For PSU get 750W Corsair/Antec/Seasonic if you plan to SLI with another card (assuming you get GTX460) otherwise 550W should be more than enough.

    As for case... Just look on the web for one that you think is pretty :D

    Thanks for the advice looked up GTX460 and that graphics card seems pretty much ok!
    i am not going to SLI or Crossfire, any motherboard advices from anyone?
    and the RAM thing is still compicated for me..

    here it is on memory:

    AMD, low CAS (6-7) at 1600mhz is about the sweet spot.

    Most memory you are going to find is tuned for Intel right now. They don't need good timings as much as they appreciate raw Mhz of speed.
