What`s the easiest way to check my HDD?

Just right click on the drive in windows "my computer" > properties > tools > error checking

It will then ask you if you want to schedule a check on next startup as your HDD is currently being used, answer yes, ensure "fix errors" checkbox is ticked then re-start, it only takes about 5 minutes as obviously your HDD is your "1st Boot device".

It may not be the HDD however, even before the system posts if the HDD is set as 1st Boot the CMOS I think it will atempt to comminicate with the boot sector.

My HDD is fine, I checked it via SanDisk. And weird thing; at the first boot with Phenom II 720 there wasn`t any problem... But now, I`m getting it as I was getting it with Phenom 9850 BE for a long time.

ok so you know its not your HHD
Have you got another Graphics card you could try? if you dont borrow a mates. if you were in New Zealand id come over right now with my system and trouble shoot the crap out of it!!
do you have the old CPU? you should try that. see if the problem is still there.
also run download and run Memtest. also check in your motherboard manual to see if you have the Ram in the right slots!!

also where you plug the power for the cpu in, is there a cap over one side of it? if there is Take it off and insert the apprioate connection, ive circled it in the picture.

also, check to see you have the molex connected on the bottom of the motherboard, also circled,

also if you could try another powersupply that would be good to.

its defintley not a vista fault.
You say that the same problem happend on your old CPU and old PSU, so you can rule both them out,
So now your left with Ram Mobo and video card, you need to try anonther graphics card.
I presume you have tryed booting up with only one stick of ram?, if you havent try that,, if it dont work with one then try the other one.
it sounds like you might have to RMA your motherboard, gigabyt has a good 3 year warrenty.

did you check that socket with the cap over it? the one in the pictuere that i circled?

I have connected 4 pin 12V cable to my MoBo, but I can connect in 8-pin mode. But PCIE_12V is connected with cable which don`t lead to PSU...

What`s RMA MoBo?

I also noticed, there`s a new BIOS version F7A. May be I should flash BIOS?

yea, try the bios flash.
also yes, connect connect the 8pin to the mobo, there should be another 4pin there somewere that fits in with the other 4 pin,
also plug a molex into the pcie one down the bottom of the mobo

RMA means send it back to the manafacture, they will replace.

if your talking about a slow POST then some boards just post slow, my board(ta770) posts slow, but its because its powering the cpu on b4 it trys to post the board, this is an overclocking feature and helps insure you will beable to overclock to the chips true abilities(post wont fail as offten and such)

duno, you could call gigabyte, i rarely deal with their boards, i prefer biostar, foxconn and dfi for overclocking boards, also setup a jetway 790gx board(the hummer model) for a buddy the other day, was impressed, its got great clocking features and a hell of a heatsink setup built in

How can I set BIOS to powering MoBo as first?

There`s cable connected into the pcie one down the bottom of the mobo, but it`s not connected to PSU.

Checked my RAM and everything is fine.

Yup, plug it in to the psu then, or just use a spare molex and plug it in,
Did you plug the 8pin conector into the cpu power, i think you should, it may help

yea, i wouldnt mind sharing exp with this board. ive liked it so far. i put a fan from an old graphics card on my NB, it helps keep it kool. did you notice high temps on your NB?

Here is what my temps where yesterday morning I just ran furmark soo they are elevated. How did you attach the fan and what do you use to monitor your temps?

tmpin2 is what I thought was my northbridge but I have never seen any changes its either 79c or 80c. Soo to be honest im not sure what my temps are......thats bad.....

I just screwd it straght on to the heatsink on the nb. the screws fit nicely between the groves, lol
