Tank based games - suggestions.

Hi everyone, looking for some suggestions for some games based around commanding a tank,

I'm not looking for a massive realistic simulator but something more on the lines of World of Tanks but available offline with single player, anyone know of anything like this? upgradeable tanks, etc etc?

1C have a few out although i don't know how good it is but there typically a good company for sims.

There is Armored Fist ( Novalogic ) Your actually in the tank in this one) but it has no widescreen and is very old i tried it a few months ago and it was deleted soon after although it did run.
