temps too high?

i have never really tried to over clock before. my 955 be is staying at 52-54, this after 3 hour 100% all 4 cores. the temps are safe, i will try for 3.9 later, and see how that goes. all i have done is set multiplier, and run amd overdrive stability test for 24 hours,, so is it safe for 24 hours? i may do it tonight. thanks

mostly that temp for that clock is pretty good, but amd does not recommond much higher temp something like 57-60c
if you want to go higher change fans or cooler
