    It got scratch a bit with all the mounts, i can give it a shot of 1000 grit if needed:D

    either way, much better than non-lapped. I got mine down like 5-7c with a 2k grit lap.
    Little did i know all the while I was also sanding part of my thumb off.....

    I'd like to see the thumbs of that guy who sanded his q6600 to the core, took him something like 6 hours :roll:

    Always wet sand, dry sanding is not recomended.

    Ram sold to cdawall, I had them up to around 1080 if i remember well without any tweaking.
    Always at 2.1 max

    Oh and dont worry, you will get that cookie i promise!

    how high have you taken that CPU on air? It seems to me that it should've done better on water. I have an e8600 (not lapped) and an taken it to 4.3Ghz on air with a Noctua NH-C12P but havent yet tried to go higher yet, still tweaking. Anyway, just curious about this.

    oh, and bump for some nice stuff :toast:
