I currently have a Wii and really want to play it, but no, I'm not buying it. If the Wii isn't sold within a few days I'll rent it.

Without knowing the heart piece locations should be fine. A pro zelda gamer wouldn't need the extra hearts xD

I don't need them, I want them . Do I need a guide? Hell no, do I want to know the heart pieces, yes.

played it for 4:30 hours and then started doing

So just haven't had a chance to pick it up again. Love it so far though.

he got it already and played

pretty much the hardest and great zelda evar


he played fast , 3 days nonstop , 45 hours

and

still did NOT complete final boss , very angry about it haha

he died so much haha ,

i'll get my hands on it next weekend when i get home

It is NOT the hardest Zelda ever but the most in-depth due to what i said above, about the controls. It's difficult if this is your FIRST Zelda game you ever played. Well, back to the game, time to work on the latter half of the adventure, im near getting the first sacred flame to forge the Goddess' sword

Erm Jr. You get the Goddess sword the first hour of the game..... do you mean the master sword?

Nope. Once you forge the Goddess' sword with the 3 sacred flames it makes it the Master sword.

Forged the 2nd sacred flame, now onto the Volcano Summit with the fireshield earrings to forge the 3rd. 24hrs of playtime so far and Ive been running through it, no heart peices collected nor a shield.

Finally beat the first boss.

Got two extra heart pieces so i'm at 8.

Got the iron shield and a wooden shield.

I just beat it. The story is drastically different from the previous games. As pointed out previously, there is no Ganondorf. I was disappointed by the lack of Epona/Hyrule Field instead replacing it with a bird and a Wind Waker-like exploration instead (in the sky instead of on water). My greatest complaint though is the controls. They relied too heavily on Wii MotionPlus which made many components of the game needlessly complicated and/or annoying.

Out of 10, I'd give it 7 (-3 for controls). I think my first play thru was 40-50 hours.

And I completely agree. It's the only Zelda I got my hands on that I have yet to beat.


Most of the bosses didn't give me much pause except the very, very last. I had to consult the Skeikah stone to figure that one out--then the controls interferred by not doing the downward strike on demand. I got it on my third attempt with 4x Health Potion++ in my inventory (I think I only used two of them). The second attempt, I died because the effin controls wouldn't let me take my potion.

I agree, the controls are a bit awkward sometimes. I'm just over 30 hours right now.

You would need a motion+, nunchuku controller, and a wireless sensor bar to set it up properly. Also check game compatibility.

im already testing it, and its compatibility is very good (with some minor graphical issues), just emulated wiimotion plus so not accurate.
