I just got a weird junk email from a forum I used to hang out on (XtremeSystems). It's a fancy dancy see through cylindrical swivel stool/case/D-Pad. It's called the Turris and is being funded on Kickstarter. They've only gotten a bit over $1000 of their whopping $50,000 goal though.

If only it could double as a turlet, or maybe make you do a rocket jump in games if you fart. LOL

I'm not sure they're going to reach their goal on this one, but after looking at their road map, they seem intent on forging ahead even if they don't.

Maybe we'll see them on Shark Tank if they fall well short of it. The Shrewd Sharks are generally leery of anything that doesn't meet it's goal on Kickstarter though, esp if it falls well short.

As silly as it looks, I can see the appeal of a mostly hands free control system for VR, though I can't imagine what they'll end up having to charge for these.

They mention the only possible snag being rotational HDMI. I take it they mean tying it into the swivel base, vs the mini swivel HDMI accessories on the market.

Still only 7 backers at the same $1013 amount. It's looking like those "backers" is money themselves, co workers, or friends ponied up to give the illusion of outside interest.
