I've gotten 4 of those, used one, and found one by accident already without a map :) I'm afraid I will have to use the guide for some of them tho. One of them has a
"WR" indicating the town of Whiterun
, so it's easy to find, but a couple are REALLY vague....

I found that WR one. But don't search for spoilers or read the guide Ahhzz, it's so much fun to find them yourself, believe me :) After all, they'll remain there, it's not like somebody discovering the place would make the treasure vanish. You can take your time.
    Ahhzz says thanks.

I'm not gonna use any guides. I had to look up where riften was, because I didn't realize how massive the map was.

    Why steam!! WHY!

So I deleted my skyrim folder from steam and got rid of any remaining files myself and I can't get Skyrim to reinstall/download!

I try using the disc but it does that install thing then says Steam Servers are too busy.
So I delete Skyrim again and restart steam and try to just download it and it says the same thing. So then I try the command C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe -install H: in run and it says the same thing.

I don't know what to do anymore aside for wait and hope the servers stop being to busy for me :(

save your steam game folder etc ans save games,

remove steam then reinstall steam same location

it should reset steam so to speak and then let you redownload. i think you can also juist delet client. something or other cant remember. and it has to reaquire said info and then it works.
    AphexDreamer says thanks.

theres probably another file you need to delete. i'm guessing the two skyrim NCF files in the appdata folder.

ok deleted the skyrim folder in app data and steam.dll + Blob file.

Steam is updating and I'm going to try again.

EDIT: Disc did the same thing. Which I don't get why. Trying to see download.

    Servers are too busy.

Going to backup steam apps uninstall steam and retry.

the ncf's are what tells steam the game is installed, so delete those and try the disk method again.

Oh didn't know Skyrim got one too.

Well I did just delete the Skyrim.ncf only saw one.

And currently deleted everything but steam.exe and Appdata so steam is downloading again.

EDIT: Finally it is installing. It must have been that sneaky .ncf file that didn't get removed.

Bah....got married then the woman didn't comeback home.
Probably pissed that I left so quickly after the ceremony.

Pretty much done all I can do with this character.

Think it's time to create a new character.
    Argonian I think.

Yeah...I do not share but can understand that sentiment but some of the subreddits like for specific games (reddit.com/r/skyrim) are freaking invaluable resources. All the best stuff (such as from all the other sites and forums) ends up there and is thus easy to find.

LOL I just texted my non-gamer gf asking if in her recent web travels she has run across a meme referencing an arrow in the knee and she responded "I sure have!" and she let me know aobut some meme blog called Skyrim FTW

I hated the echo effect, and the auto tuning.

I closed the video after listening to 5 seconds of her "singing"

agreed, seen it last week, she is great, and looks really happy singing it.

The amount of auto tuning on that is minimal compared to the crap that is considered "professional" music on the market. I think the effects add a warming effect that matches the music and feel of the genre/game nicely. Not to mention, if you watch her other video, her native language is Spanish.

I just dislike acoustic music that's been digitally altered is all.
