I been saying this all along, and it makes sense since they have all of Cyrodill in Skyrim. I think TES VI will have Valenwood and Elsywer as the game lands (need 2 locations since no other territory is big enough to host a single game I dont think). Problem is the game after that they got Black Marsh, Summerset Isles, and High Rock left and they are all on opposite corners of the map. So we might be 2 - 3 TES generations away from a full Tamriel.

But this has been my theory simply because they are sticking with this damn engine, it better had be for a reason that we are stuck limited by dual cores and craptastic shadows.

Now if only there was a way to fix the character models. I love how Morrowind looks modded, but it's immersion breaking for me to see the horrible player models in that good of a looking game.

Back then that was an amazing looking game, remember that was 9 years ago.

Yeah, I guess 9 years ago that would've been amazing. Way back in the olden days, lol.

I think they should make TES 6 with valenwood and Elsywer like you said, and then while we play happily on that for a few years they can update the rest of the continent and release it all as a massive TESVII, with all graphics brought up to date. That would be awesome. But probably beyond hope.

    What about Better Bodies?

edit: Also, the Tamriel Rebuilt project has a higher probability of being completed than we have of Bethesda actually including all of Tamriel in one game again. (I say "again" because the first one, Arena, had it).

well MGE XE in its latest form offers Dynamic shadowing etc, and actually looks better in that regard then Oblivion OR Skyrim for that matter kinda sad really a bunch of modders with plugins have added more features to DX8.1 game and have it looking better then many devs do today with DX9 10 or 11 lol

as for the character models you do realize they COULD be changed, lol just need someone whos willing to rig the model so it animates, lol not like i cant mod a new body, just no ones ever willing to rig and animate it, thus never had much luck improving whats already their, Heads are easy enough no moving mouths etc just plop it on the body done for the most part.

I play all three (Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) vanilla.
I'm into it for the wonder of exploring someone else's vision of a world.

In Morrowind, the complete surrealness of everything.
In Oblivion (and Shivering Isles), the unexpected in what was a more "comfortable" world.
In Skyrim, the dragons and the feeling of a vast mountain region that gives you the impression of going on forever.

Everytime someone makes an RPG it's usually good. Every time Bethesda make an ES game it's a freakin' whole country in a box.

I like to play vanilla, or mostly vanilla, and then play again with tons of mods.

Any body mod I have ever seen for Morrowind just doesn't hold a candle to where the rest of the game has made it. The rest of the world overhauled honestly is at a modded Skyrim level, where as something like this, just isn't even close.

Oh I know, I'm surprised with how much time people have spent modding it that it's the 1 thing that hasn't been done. None the less, it's something that hasn't been done, and if not by now, I just doubt seeing it ever happen.

well if i had an Nvidia GPU i could model a new body, it just comes down to animating it so it works in game, my apps of choice do not support the neccessary plugin to rig and animate models for Bethesda's games

"Playing a PC game with consoles in the equation is like running a relay race with a fat kid on your team".

Even more true for BF3 but sure applies here as well.

Yeah. He should have said “first expansion pack" or something.

I wonder if they'll make us pay for it. Did you have to pay separately for shivering isles? I never played that expansion.

And as previously mentioned, initial DLC will be exclusive to Xbox, thereby confirming that Bethesda, can indeed, suck my joystick.

It was a full fledged expansion pack, so yeah it was not free. Had a price on it.
