Hahaha yes, it's almost as if the PC and Xbox development teams are actually seperate teams and the company can't risk a delay in release of a product because the profit will keep them afloat

But that's just silly. Fuck you Bethesda and fuck you Microsoft.

That's what I'm looking forward too as well.

The what? I just started replaying Skyrim today (enjoying the cinematic kills I saw for the first time), and now I hear there's mounted combat ability? Nice! :rockout:

Same here. The only issue I have is that immediately after fast-travelling I always get 14 fps which hops up to 37-45 fps after some 2 seconds. Weird...

It's loading/caching the new area, get more video memory and RAM and you're set :toast:

oblivion had horse armor DLC. you had to pay for it, and then the horses died anyway, so you lost it.

What's the deal with mounted combat?

I tried to, but I couldn't equip my bow to shoot arrows. Neither could I go into first person mode while on horseback. :(

Anyone having issues with steam sync lately? Im guessing its this god awful internet at the hotel im at for the summer. I had a further save on my desktop with a character. When i click to load the game, it says preparing to launch skyrim. After a few minutes I can see in the library that it is downloading something. It will go as high as 8% sometimes, then just stop and steam says it cannot sync with the cloud.

Was thinking of starting a new character for now, but didnt know if that would cause problems with the sync in the future.

Playing around with texture mods, and uGrids/etc I have my video card's RAM completely saturated.
Game now looks amazing, but I am getting ~30 FPS with dips.

I might tweak some settings in the .ini to see if I can get better frames while still keeping the eyecandy.

Also, forgot that AA is on with MLAA, probably going to have to turn that off too. :)

Gotta get my axe swinging arm back in shape in time for Dawnguard!

What are some good loot mods? The vanilla loot lists are extremely bland.

Stinger ... if you honestly think that I am going to read through 5300+ posts so I can compile all the information into the OP, you've only got one oar in the water.

.. and I say that in the kindest possible way. :D
