Yeah, I really like their ship. It's like a Cutlass on steroids.

I hope the re-done Constellation drops at that time too. I think the part I'm looking forward to the most is flying that ship with other folks on board. Heck, I'll take any kind of update at this point.

Multiple organizations is open! You can join up to 10 different organizations now. You can also hide what organizations you belong to. So, for some of you guys, time to join TPU!

Also, people who have signed in to the RSI website in the past month will get an upgrade in rank... Even though rank pretty much means nothing at this point.. but I'm bored. :D We'll figure out what to do with these kinds of things once we get our own forum over there.

    Hangar patch!!!

You might want to wait a bit to DL it. It's a bit wacky at the moment.

Patch is not for AC/DFM but adds some AI files, new shaders and fixes oculus rift support so it is true stereo 3D now. If you have an avenger, cutlass or super hornet deleting the user folder inside your SC install will fix some graphics issues (wacky shaders on the avenger/cutlass and missing turret on super hornet get fixed when you delete it).

The patch is only ~300MB but some people's machines aren't patching correctly and are completely re-downloading the game through the launcher (I was a lucky one who did not re-download).

Added content includes a towel for anyone who backed before we hit 42 million and a calendar for any subscribers.

This is also testing the new patcher system that they have so is a precursor for the AC/DFM release coming soon.

I just got done watching the TNGS ship competition and and.. wow! Four Horsemen's ship is amazing. Some of the judges didn't like some of the exterior of the ship, but I think this is one of the most beautiful ships, period. Plus, the interior is just amazeballs.

    Exterior:

As the judges were saying perhaps they need to make the front window a bit smaller and those circular things on the neck smaller to give it the appearance of being as large as it actually is.

I really hope they let more than just one of these ships into the game lol.

@Mindweaver let us know how the oculus support is coming along.

In the DFM weekly update there's a picture with a few ships on it. I took the pic, cropped out the 300i and lightened it up a bit. They've made some nice changes!

I tried it out today with the Oculus Rift and it's much better, before this update I had to create a "User.cfg" file with all the stereoscopic settings in the "CitizenClient" directory. Now I can switch between VR mode and standard mode by press "1" for standard and "2" for VR. It's a lot better, but it still needs some work. I'll probably still use the user.cfg file to still tweak other settings like FOV and Stereo eye distance. I'm working on a "SC Config Utility" with a lot more settings. I'll share it once it's complete if anyone wants it. So far, I've got a lot more graphic control using it over in game control.

Anyone else see wmh today? They are going to quit after 3 more episodes, to start a new show... Also I saw your post E on YouTube. I hope they are still on track to release AC/DFM at the end of May.
