Well i've always loved the NWN1 game engine and this is what the 1st Witcher is built on. And no the second one. One of the best game i've played for years.

Thought this was just a remake to be ported onto console. If you got the original game i don't think there is going to be much difference.

It was a remake with a few changes in the combat system..

It's still on hold tho, and I doubt it'll be put back on track. I hope they just leave it there and start working on The Witcher 2 for PC. :D

I hope there will be a Witcher two. Is a very much underrated game. And polish. Be good to keep it that way.

Yes indeed, and the legendary polish band Vader even made a song for it! :p

Maybe they discovered the NWN code to be virtually unportable. You'd think Bioware would have to jump on that but I'd doubt they'd want to.

Also, I doubt there is much fun in porting a game--they'd rather be making something new. ;)

I bet they had enough of it lol. Hence why we ended up with Mass Effect. I wish they did NWN2 as it was no were near as good as NWN1 game wise playability and such.

Maybe costs ?. got to still cost loads just to port a game and as you say problems that might pop up along the way with it as the NWN1 engine is extremely complex.
