The Luxa2 LM100 Mini is the smallest HTPC enclosure of that brand in the line-up. It can fit a mini-ITX board, but does it manage to deliver a compact and concentrated dose of all the features we look for in an HTPC chassis?

Awesome review as always DS. For $300, TT should include quality psus with this series. Im not sure a 200W psu would work with 2 x 2gb ddr2 or ddr3 ram and a mobo with an IGP including the processor. However, I could be wrong, but 200W worries me.

50mm 4000RPM fans in an HTPC case? Seriously? Although the design is dead sexy with no side or top vents they really should have tried to get at least an 80mm or 92mm fan or two or preferably a 120mm. It would have been nice to give impressions of the sound with the system actually running too.

The case certainly looks the part and I've got no issues about running a hot HTPC as long as it's not noisy. Wonder if those fans can be run at 5V off the molex or if that's sufficient for their spin-up speed.

It does seem odd to have the PSU fan exhausting into the case, surely putting the PSU alongside the ITX board with an exhaust to rear would be better. And where is the PSU supposed to draw cool air from?

HTPC = silent system so I do not exactly follow what advantage would two larger fans give over a small one. If it keeps the temperature in control why bother?
