Does anyone here is using this fans?

I decided to replace my thermaltake's water 3.0 Pro Fans, so I ordered a new set of Thermaltake Riing 12 fans,
http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00002638
the question!

does this fans have shown any noticeable improvement over the old ones?
noise, lower temps?

I know that there should be reviews of the products but I really like to hear more from people who are currently using them,

thanks in advance for any help!:toast:

Static pressure is pretty good, but the CFM is lower. Also the Riing fans are near silent at full go. On an air cooler, I went push pull with a pair of 120 Riings, and it gave me the same results as the single 140mm fan that was on it originally.

Essentially it takes two Riing fans to equal these specs:
Technical Spec : for the TY-140

Fan Speed : 900~1300RPM (PWM)
Sound Level : 17~21dBA
Airflow : 28.3 - 73.6 CFM

thanks sir!

I don’t really wonder about noise, but is something you should know on everything you buy, full specs,

currently my white ugly stock fans are working decently, but I wanted to see if the Riing 12 can make it better, I have read that static pressure on them is pretty decent, and also are pretty recommended for radiators ,

unfortunately my case doest support 140mm fans and nor my rad, so I have to stick with 120mm fans,

I was just stating that it took two 120mm fans to equal that TY-140 that was on the cooler previously. If I recall the CFM on the Riing fans is only 40CFM, so while the pressure is good, you will need to compensate for the lack of flow through these fans.

Just saying that if you have one good fan on there now, it may take these in a push/pull configuration just to keep up with the original fans.

The fans on the water 3.0 are pretty kick ass, and if noise inst the issue, I wouldn't bother. Thing is I know it is the lights that are attracting you to this option.

There are better fans, but maybe not better looking. Scythe Gentle Typhoons are great for radiators and there are others select models as well - Noise Blocker, Noctua and Corsair.

@ 900~1300RPM they going be pretty silent if not RMA HAHA. Be nice if they had some around 1000-2000RPM be nice on a fan controller.

sup people, I got the fans on Friday, but I installed them on Saturday!

they look pretty kickass, also are silent even at max speed plugged to Molex with the supplied adapter, they work pretty decent and also I didn't notice a temp raise compared to older fans, even when to old stock fans where plugged to a "Y" splitter provided with the water 3.0 system, so I don’t know if I should move back to splitter or stay with Molex directly,

here are some pics !
