Ever had the joy of bringing an old thread back to life? Only then can you understand why we do it.

Until then...you're just pissed at us :p.

Yes indeed. A good thread is like an old lover - you don't mind using her again if she doesn't mind. And the memories are precious ;)

how do we know if it's even dead?? if it's still there it must be still alive, but we think it's dead because we are sick of seing it on the "new posts" section, so really what we thought was dead was never really dead at all because it's still alive! lol, if that makes any sense (probably not, I'm really sick)

oh yeah I just gave you all my e-flu

A thread is dead (lol rhymes) if it's been inactive for 1 month. I think that's what I was told.

Some people post to zombie threads because they never saw it before as they are checking out past pages.
Some people post in zombie threads becuase they thought the thread was funny and want to bring it back.
Some poeple post in zombie threads because someone brought it back to life and they have never seen it before.

I posted this because I liked 3991's "a thread is dead" rhyme, and figured one more post wouldn't delay it's eventual demise anyway.

    Zombie thread, FTW !

Well . . . some people have always wanted to practice necromancy, and thread revival is the best place to start dabbling - I mean, hell, you know just how dangerous it is to be chillin in a moonlit graveyard at 2AM with a voodoo drum, a caged chicken, some black candles and packet of PopRocks?! Not to mention if you actually did manage to wake the dead - or if you screwed up and awoke the whole cemetery . . .

Are you crazy for telling everyone that? What if they use one to many PopRocks and revive every thread in the TPU archive?

Be responsible with your information, man !!! :D
