Ok.. So I have this Thrustmaster TopGun Afterburner II USB (not ForceFeedback version), and find that sometimes in some games - as for an example in BF1942 and it's various mods it sometimes doesn't "level the plane straight". Warranty void if removed! (Just so you can't blame anyone). And do NOT touch anything inside it.. My friends broke when he tried the same. He had the FF version.. So this is what I did: 1.Unscrew all the screws at the bottom of the joystick (not throttle). Remove the cover. 2.You will now see a white square thing with 4 screws - leave this one alone. 3.The black "Joystick resistance" unscrew it completely. 4.You will now find a spring, you have 2 options: (a).Exchange to a spring that is "stiffer". (b).Place a coin or two so it feels "stiffer". (I prefer option "a"). 5.Mount everything back in it's place. 6.Download the calibration "tool" for TM joysticks and wheels (it works for this one as well). 7.Calibrate the stick with the "Joystick resistance" at minimum, after calibration put it maximum & feel that it is "harder" to move the stick. It's perfectly in the center (if everything worked out well). 8.Play a game! Pics will come soon.. Next time, I'll post some pics on "how to" make the throttle's rudder to be in the mid position (it's very sensitive I have noticed). I bought my TM Afterburner II as a "second hand" for about 10$, and after the above it works great in games.. I also tested it in X-Wing alliance and it worked well there too.
