I have a dillema about a PC case for my build.
I own a Gygabyte GA-P85D3 motherboard , Intel Core i5 4690 CPU , Sapphire Radeon 280X Vapor X 3X , Seasonic 650W G-series PSU , 1XSamsung 850 Pro, 1Xstandard 3.5" HDD (I plan to keep the number of components the same during a longer time period...if I decide to go multi GPU , just one more card will be added). CPU cooler is stock by the way,but I planned a AIO CPU cooler (would love to buy Swiftech H220-X)

And I am torn between these cases
NZXT H440 and Fractal Design Arc XL

The only things preventing me from NZXT is the fear of high temrperatures in a smaller case (I love the extra room in other two) ,and the lack of space for everything to "breathe" comfy . But I fell in love with the design, colour schemes, and details in NZXT...

Second in line is Fractal Design (I just love the weight and thick metal sheets)

Anyway , HELP , I am literraly having headaches from overthinking this .
By the way, pricing of NZXT and Fractal Design cases are the same (but it does not matter that much, because I would pay more for the things I can grow to love).

Thanks .

Welcome to TPU!

After looking at the NZXT, I wouldn't exactly label it small. Sure, smaller than the Arc XL, but it is definately mid-size. It appears to have good ventilation. I guess what I am saying is, you've got to look at all the features that you want. which one has the most of those? Which one will you likely use for several years, maybe even re-build in later down the road?

Personally, I like Fractal Design. Their quality is fantastic. I have two R4's. If you ask which I would buy, it is the Fractal Arc XL. But it has to be about what is YOUR favorite.

Thats my problem...I can't say for sure...I love the size and space in Arc XL because I know that anything will fit and serve a purpouse well . But I also love the design of NZXT (lack of 5.25" bays, colour accents,PSU cage and SSD mountings on top, backlit rear i/o panel...I love the feet of the csse...I just wish it was a full tower)

Fractal Design has everything I need , but packed in a form that I like less than NZXT-s .

Then what about the R5? Still lots of space, configurable, ssd mounting behind motherboard, quiet, and not as bulky as the arc XL.

I like it bulky...I am fine with the size...the lack of details that make it stand out is bothering me now that I've seen H440 . I rhink I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and when I see that something can be done I want it imlpemented into a humongous and heavy case like XL(these are all compliments) . By the way , I think I'll go for Arc XL ... because I think I will learn to apreciate the extra room only after I am in a position to fill it up with new hardware.

P.S. I stated the mountings for SSD-s on the PSU cage of H440 as a positive thing :)

Big case with a lot of room for features?

Rosewill Blackhawk Ultra. I love mine.
You know , you are just gonna kill me with this (chuckle) . I live in Bosnia...that means that I'll make a case for myself faster and cheaper than it would cost me If I order it from literally anywhere in the world...our customs are a bi*ch . I would probably pay them double the price of any product over fifty bucks..,so I'm working with what I have... Obsidian 750D would cost me 240 euros in my country :/

It's not gonna work out...knowing myself I'm gonna save up some more money and go for some full-tower NZXT,because I just love their design . I don't need silence,I need space, airflow and nice clean lines of the outside of the chassis and internal layout of the same qualities .
