Good deal! My friend might be interested in this.

Anyone know what the contrast ratio is on this? I can't seem to find it.

    Toshiba 40RV525R 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

Toshiba 40RV525R is one of the best selling LCD HDTVs in several major merchants. I think the reason is because it has a low price, this HDTV is cheaper than other 40-inch television. It also has good picture quality and many great features.

The Toshiba 40RV525U\40RV525R price changes all the time, i got mine of Newegg for $740 including a extra year warranty.

I'm happy with mine all though i think the 40RV525U is better than the 40RV525R.

    The good and bad

If using it as a TV too you might get annoyed due channel changing is slow if you use the channel up\down.

It's defaults suck just truly but after fiddling with it for a while it's a kick ass HDTV.

    Viewing angle is sweet

loss finish is annoying the actual screen is gloss too so if you have a light on and you farly close to it you will see your self lol.

At least with my setup with the 4890 you will need to use overscan to get a full picture.

Flight\Driving and FPS are totally sweet with it.

D Plug is lower res all though HDMI(3 1.3v) connections can do 1080 and a little higher before picture goes blurry after 1920x1200.

Don't get hot like others do as long as you keep it 8"+ away from the wall.. 8" should be good as mines running cool and room temps are in the lower 80's.

Would have a nervous break down without it HA..

    No dead or stuck pixels.

It's about $300 cheaper than any other in it's class.
