Toshiba today announced a new addition to its 17.1-inch desktop replacement laptop line with the Satellite L350 series, with AMD’s advanced family of dual-core processors and an affordable starting price of $749.991. The new Satellite L350 offers users premium multimedia features including a 17.1-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite display (1440x900), up to 4GB PC2-5300 DDR2 memory, 200GB (4200 rpm) SATA HDD, built-in Webcam, ATI Radeon X1250 graphics and a DVD SuperMulti drive with Labelflash. The laptop comes preinstalled with Windows Vista Home Premium (SP1, 32-bit version). It also features a fresh unique feature also introduced today, the Sleep-and-Charge USB ports which make it possible to charge and power electronic devices no matter if the laptop is powered-on, off or in sleep mode. Three of these USB ports are presented in the Satellite L350. The Satellite L350 series is available now in several configurations, including the Satellite L355D-S7810, which features an AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Mobile Technology TL-60 processor (2.0GHz, 1MB L2 Cache).
