TP-LINK, a global provider of networking products, today announced its Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter joining the line-up of TP-LINK products available through online retailers - while still being offered at leading retailers including Fry's Electronics and Micro Center. With wireless speed of up to 450 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and at 5 GHz, this dual band PCI adapter is the best companion when upgrading your PC's wireless capabilities.

"We are excited to offer the Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter to customers through our expanding network of online retailers," said Richard Xu, Vice President of TP-LINK USA. "For those customers who want to get online and stay online utilizing a clear 5 GHz band, our Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter is an exceptional option to meet the market demand at a competitive price point."

Due to a variety of devices in the home or office operating on the 2.4 GHz band-such as cordless phones, microwaves, automatic garage door openers, Bluetooth devices, and especially neighboring wireless networks-the likelihood of wireless interference is unavoidable. Setting up a network on the 5 GHz band gives you access to an entire range of free channels to transmit data, stream HD movies, and play online games, while utilizing the 2.4 GHz band will increase your PC's versatility and ensure the stability of your latency-sensitive applications. Now playing music, games and HD videos as well as sharing photos from anywhere in the home or office without worrying about drops in wireless connection just got that much easier.

The Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter is equipped with three external detachable Omni-directional antennas to ensure optimum wireless performance and stability. Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology significantly increases data throughput and link range to achieve a diversity gain and link reliability.

TP-LINK products are available at Fry's Electronics, Micro Center, B&H and Data Vision. You can also find them online at Newegg.com, Amazon.com, TigerDirect.com, Walmart.com and Buy.com. For more details on where to buy, please visit http://www.tp-link.us/where-to-buy/?categoryid=902.

Thank you! I have been looking for a dual-band wireless card for a while now. I'd love it if someone can point me to some reviews of this unit though!

I've only used one TP-Link product, but it also was a well-made device with good performance.
