TPU is the only site that works.wtf

    So every time i click firefox and it opens up, it doesn't load my homepage(google), but when i click on the drop down arrow and click on techpowerup, it works. Yet every other site doesn't.wtf

    sounds good to me :)

    check if your dns is working properly, nslookup on the command line will do dns requests, try to manually use the opendns resolvers 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220

    Same thing regularly happens at my work place. All of a sudden a couple of sites I been using keep working while the rest start giving a 404 error.

    I know it's the DSL filter which needs replacing though.

    Perhaps it's so in your case as well?

    on secound note, try http://opendns.com will will speed up dns and make you safer :)

    TPU definitely rocks.:rockout:, but this one was definitely a wtf moment, absolutely nothing was working besides TPU.:laugh:

    I've also noticed sites intermittently giving 404 errors when at work over the last few days. Lots of them start doing it all at once adn then it clears up after a minute or just a few seconds. It's weird. :wtf:

    Because TPU just rocks that much :) to bad for me its usually TPU doesn't work and the other do :cry:

    some times when i just get on to techpowerup.com there are no pictures and just links and all the text is smashed to the left side, happens about once a months usally takes about 30 refreshes and then fixes

    That probably means your connection is timing out with the server at some point, could be either end or some bunny hop along the way. And if TPU was the only site that worked for me, I'd probably be banned things said and done. :p
